Trading card game

Postby ReedoInteractive » Sat Aug 27, 2016 7:51 am

Hi, I'm making a trading card game/card battling game, I have lots of art and all sorts made for it, the game I am making will have the same sort of gameplay as YuGiOh bam, where you go around a large map tackling levels and seeing story points, you will be able to duel with opponents to move on, and sometimes get new cards, there will also be a card shop and the ability to battle with other players if I can find a way to link the feature into my game, however I have 1 problem and thatsa the scripting of it, I have no clue how to make the card battle interface and the AI for it, so if someone could help me with that itd be great. heres some of the cards.

that's just 3 of the 100 different cards and more that are coming soon, if possible please someone help me with the scripting

cards look awseome. did you ever play yugioh duelist of the roses (PS2)? that was a good system, using a chessboard. you could play a forest card and turn adjacent tiles to forest terrain.

Definitely a fan of the art as well! Its not often people get hired around here for dedicated development on a project, however, we're more than happy to give you a hand whenever you get stuck with creating your game! Just make a topic in the "Technical Support" forum when you need help with something and a community member will hopefully be able to give you a hand :)

I really hope you go somewhere with this project, a trading card game would be pretty awesome :)
Please do not PM me with Engine 001 related questions, rather post on the forums. ;)
