For Devs By Devs

Postby Wonderland » Wed Jul 17, 2013 6:22 am

NOTE: Sorry if this isn't the place for this - I had no idea where to put it.

Fordevsbydevs.wordpress.com

I have just started a game development tips blog where I am trying to get game devs to write about topics they are interested in (design, programming, promotion, etc.) to teach others. I edit their articles, post them and in return they get a link to their site, Twitter account, etc. in a little bio. More content on the way, in the process of editing. Feedback or thoughts?

Is anybody interested in writing or helping out? PM me or post below!

P.S. I can also conduct interviews with devs too, so also PM me or post if interested.

Please and thanks!

That looks like a pretty (potentially) useful blog, assuming people start writing for it. I'm not much of a writer in the blogging sense myself, though.

Thanks! Yeah, I am a bit worried about content but it sounds like a few people besides you are interested. :) Certainly. PMed you my email.

I am trying to brainstorm unique ways to set the site apart. Maybe a free game is given away to the writer with the best rated articles every few months? What about the readers? I don't know... I am trying to think of things to make it a bit more interesting than just another game design blog.
