"There was a boy who has lost his memory.
Carrying the name of None, he comes to a particular orphanage.
One day, he follows an uncanny shade, and..."

Background/History
*Not really that important...
Rainfall was first developed at early 2013 by gerardred, it was first planned as a typical RPG with school setting. But was soon scrapped. The project was then revived in mid 2014 and heavily altered. Storyline became dark, many system has been added and the school setting was removed. After a few month after the initial announcement in the 001 forum, the project data was corrupted and became scrapped once again. After a long time, this project was once again revisited. But many thing were altered. It was no longer a RPG, but instead was a horror-esque adventure. The plot became further darker and the interaction and calendar system were removed. Changing the focus of the game into the story.

The gameplay involves exploration and puzzle solving, there are no combat or any quick reflect needing things, making the game accessible to anybody. There are also times where you will have to make a decision , which will affects the ending.

Not sure why nobody commented on this, but I'm actually quite curious what you're trying to build here. Is it a thriller? A horror? Or plain action?
The plot says something, but I'm still not entirely sure what sort of game you're trying to make. It can go many directions.

The plot can be described as thriller, while the game play is action RPG.

I'm curious how you're going to make a thriller without combat. I'm not that sure what to expect here. A dedicated puzzle game is great; but do you have any plans you can share on how to make it a thriller? Perhaps instead of combat you have creatures that kill you per instant if you make a wrong choice?

At some times, the player will be forced to took a decision in which both choices are sometimes are morally wrong.

Perhaps instead of combat you have creatures that kill you per instant if you make a wrong choice?

I doubt that I will implement a "gameover" mechanism. But instead, all of the decision will be accumulated in the ending. There's also no "wrong or true" choice as there won't be any "true" ending and such. Any choice will affects the ending, no matter how minor it seems.

A dedicated puzzle game is great

Even though there will be some puzzle, the game mainly involves exploration.

That was a very short demo :?

I personally enjoyed what i played so far but there is a few things. The rain sounds to loud and the piano noise made me jump due to how loud it was. The game itself feels creepy and i love what you did with the atmosphere.

At the end of the game i thought it was just starting when it came up with the rainfall name and music but then said demo ended :( However i really enjoyed it, would love to see this finished and also see a longer demo.

Good job so far :D
