AUA S E V E N Demo Released!!! 12/2/10

***Update 12/2/10***
A playable Demo is now ready. Please let me know how you like the game. I've worked at this game for like to years. :lol:
Anyway I tried my best to make this game sort of grim suspenseful movie type feel in some areas. You'll notice graphics are textured. Guns spend bullet casings, and much other minor detail. Please enjoy.

-Added new humorous dialog in the begging, and fixed a few script errors.
-Down sized download to about 48mb best I can do.

Story:
In AUA6 a mafia man named, Alfredo Sanders your girfriend. our looking for revenge, You thought you killed him, but he faked his death, and is taking out your friends. After you travel up north you go up to the cabin in BC north. Your boss helps you get back on your feet to start your vengence. Sanders gets crazy and will try to kill everyone if it means killing you.
Aktivitys include: Hunting, Fishing, Bowing(still experiminting, target shooting, furnitureizing homes and buisnesses, delivering cars for scrap, Cokking, and etc.

Features: Most graphics are textures,
Wepons: GLock 18, sig sauer p226, FN P90, L96, .308, m4 carbine, 12 Gauge shotgun, Swords,Dessert egal 50AE, .380 automatic,bereta m9 elite, Ak 47, Barret 50 cAl, and much more.
Soundtrack: Vehicle music from artist including, P.O.D, Evanescence, Kasper, Linkin Park, Nikleback, plus Gunshots and explosions and more.
Buildings: Shoe store, Farmers market, Fastfood, Gas station, Cloth store, Small Fire arm store, Large fire arm store, Car store, aircrafft store, military vehicles store, boat store, and more.
Jobs:Target shooter(shoot targets) Delivery man(deliver cargo to various locations) Trash man and more
Purchasable objects: Purchase things from planes, boats, helicopters,cars, hovercrafts,to space crafts and furniture for different empires, homes, buisnesses,food, songs, mobile devices, weapons, shoes, shirts,pants and more.
status: 80% complete

sounds good but i have never herd of a job that you get paid to shoot targets in most cases you have to pay to shoot stuff...hehe :lol:
and if you killed him in aua6 how does he threten to kill outher people? hes dead!

i see no meele weapons in the weapon list though

Pretty good, and I like the use of custom resources, but the maps' contents seem to be repeating itself. House, road, tree, house, road, tree.
Add some variety. ;)

Thanks- :) This was a prototype screenie, now thanks to paint.net I made the 2D grapics glow simulaur to GTA 4 Im putting alot of work into it I hope it turns out good :) I would love help aswell though. :)

Not a bad idea, I'd like to play this.
But just one thing I noticed - quite a number of your games have spelling errors. Sme aren't much, but some can change the meanings of what you intend to say in your game.
Try to be careful of that.

thanks guys. :) well my old pc had a keylogger causing some buttons to function and some to not but i got a dell diminsion 8200 for my birthday so now ill be able to prevent it. :)

It looks very good to me better than most AUA games try to spend alot of time on this and have things do lots of stuff. Make lengthy sidequests and big areas (but not huge maps) like M4 said make you maps differ and if you can't use all the space in a map make it smaller. I like the AUA games but I think they get done a tad to quick so slow down make good missions, job and fix all the bugs. The customs look really nice keep it up.

Thanks AUA 6 had a mission and some minigames to make money you might wanna play it to understand the storyline for this one as for the 5th one and others there isint a storyline. I am also though worried about the setup size usually its about 30mbs or more.

Yea im workin to see what the other ones needed especially by the rating, :) feel free to give more suggesstion. i added so far: textured explosions looks way diffrent and added colored flashbangs wich will stun enemies, and a cheat stun grenade wich will activate a cheat when thrown. This can be purchased in the AUA souviner store with a AUA T Shirt :) .

maybe you could have a bunch of minigames to earn money. For example, peaceful jobs will be like mowing lawns and washing cars etc. Or you could go for criminal acts like mugging or stealing. Make a moral meter type thing, more bad deeds and the police will be on your tail. Make the police happy by hunting down criminals. Make some hired guns and you could make mob to take revenge :D Finally, make a friendship meter with shop owners. High friendship means more people in your mob and extra weapon in stockpiles, not to mention price discounts. Steal from the shop owners, and they get cops after you.
I do not know how GTA-ish those ideas sound, since I have never played any GTA games (sucks to be me, i know) Use these ideas if you want. As long as this will be a good game, we will all wait for your success ;)

I noticed that in the first map, there's a short building with its shadow on top of a taller building in front of it.. haha :lol:

but other than that, maps look awesome! :)

Sorry, can you just clarify a few things?

AUA, what's the story from 1 to 6 so I don't have to play through all of them? If they aren't remotely related, why do they have the same name?

Also, having 6 previous titles, I have a fear that you're making many small games - is this true? Are the other 6 fairly short? Do you plan on making this one stand out more? This might entice you to also choose a brand new name to stand out.

Again, nothing negative, I'd just like to flesh this out a bit, would really like to see something crazy cool and well written and well made from you that has a 9+ rating :).

ill be happy to clarify :) AUA started out as a massivly free roam game, AUA 5 was the last massivly free roaming game without missions. I decided I needed a storyline in a some what dark gloomy setting then AUA 6 was born, you play a man whos girlfriend was killed by this guy (game dosent show what happend.) to make it easy on the players I made 1 storyline and about 3 levels. wich youll have to fight terroist to get your revenge on the man who killed your girlfriend. Once done the player can explore an open world and coustomize your home to your hearts desire. Now to get the storyline you must play AUA6. And AUA 7 (wich stands for an unforgetable adventure) is a sequal this time you may purchase buisnesses and other cool things. there are two citys and amost all graphics are textured not to long ago i made a topic on what people wouuld like to see in a game. Im taking as much info as i can from that to put it in a game.I also managed to texture the explosions like for example after an explosion there is a quick burning fire.But in the storyline to sum it up you take out the man who you supposibly kiled and he faked his death and youll have to take out his army and him once and for all,( quick game spoiler ) youll have to bomb his home by setting multible bombmobiles wich can be purchased also in the game for fun. :)

I'm impressed! The customs look great, but i have one question, map detail. Since some of the maps are zoomed, you can see that much, but a tip is don't just lay down textures, make some rocks, shrubs, populate the world with enviormental touches...can't wait to play! :D

like less than or more than a month, :) Im putting so much work in this game I hope to change the players experience. :D I mean lots of possabilities, traveling to space buying and coustomizing thigs there too. :lol: And on earth of course you have a wearhouse for living and a vehicles, also you can put a satalight in space to make money. :)

A suggest that you put in things like danceing at night clubs or doing real jobs like sales? You have to convince people to buy the prouduct by saying the right thing every time. glad your putting alot of work into it I'll defenatly play :)

thanks im exited, i want people to play this, im putting so much work in it so people will play and not get bored in 2 minutes atleast. :lol: The setup size is getting big if i put too much it will get bigger. :(
nightclubs, Ill get those, :) Dancing, I will Try, remember im still open to suggestions. Im thinking about slamming in some fantasy by when your awake your in a modren world, but when your sleep you can fight monsters and cast spells, unless i make this a video game in agame. That the player will have to purchase.
and thats a great ideah to convince people to buy things, and when you go to work you get a suit tie.

It's no problem, but remember confusious words, "Never look back at the picture when you are painting, look when you are done!"

[Translation:] Don't keep going back to your creation everytime you stop to check on it and how it looks when you're not done with the project, finish the whole goal and then see what you done. That way you don't have to drag about how far you are behind, but how close you are almost finish.

Love all the customs and the vid - but why not try making the items for your home as characters instead of vehicles? Then placement would be a bit easier, and you can rotate them as well.

I tried playing it. Everytime I click to run it (or reinstall it) I get this massive lag and my computer goes into super overdrive :lol:. Then an error pops up when it's loading the game. Each time a different one. I end up having to restart my computer each time. :|

No, no, no, its looks great, just delete stuff that isn't used. Thats what i do when i make a game from scratch, i delete all the chars, and tilesets, and make my own, in this games case don't felete the chars. But you remebr gnagster, that old gme i did, it had a massive filsize, halfly the reason i never put it up. But being artistic is exellent, and your game is exellent too. :D

Seems there's a bug when testing - I've fixed it - it's from 1.6 or 1.7 - you should play your game through to make sure it all works. Maybe there's more than the one bug when you go to new game. Let me know :).

Okay thank you. I fixed the errors. ^_^
One thing is my characters head stays purple after I tell it to change color.

Ya forgot to put a focus camera event for the vehicles, and I think it was the that Glock shots backwards for the up and down frames, as well as being able to pick it up at the gun store. That's all I found. :)
Should use a once branch at the shooting range, so the message doesn't come up after every shot.
