Not really much to say, this is the official topic for the game so discuss anything about it here. ;)

Anyway, it's pretty neat - but would be really good to make the player able to go at the same speed as the computer.

You should make the AI smart but some gaps in his moves so it's not invincible.
If you haven't tried out yet, check out my full game Voyage for Vengeance.
If you did but you're stuck, don't worry, there's a walkthrough available!

For those about to rock, we salute you.

Yeah, so lets say the following hit chances are for the following levels:

50-75% chance to hit: Easy
70-85% chance to hit: Medium
85-100% chance to hit: Hard

And then just pick a random percent with what ever level the character chooses...

Then if the chance is they hit the ball, make it so it stalks the balls Y position (at a set speed ofcourse)
and then if it effs up, make it go to a random Y +/- 128 pixels of the ball or something
(You dont have to doit like this, its just an idea, and im bored :P)

Im surprised no-one's done something like this yet :O

Thank you for the feedback guys, I may or may not implement these into it, to be honest I made this game whilst challenging myself to make a game under an hour and a half, hence the sloppy AI, so if I were to go back and make it better it defeats the objective of doing it under an hour and a half.

You made it in under an hours and a half. Didn't say how long you were going to take to update it. :)

Then again you could emply a similar system as a minigame for a bigger project.

Quick bug, every so often you make a goal, and it pushes the other paddle forward, which is actually an advantage for him. :( Anyway, did beat the paddle 20-6, even so.

Is it bad that I actually had pong when it came out? Though I'm not nostalgic for it in the least bit, this is still an interesting experiment with 001.

Perhaps, if you still play the original. :P
