Happens to me all the time, just with a different game. I've spent 900 hours on TF2 :?

It also has no oxygen

I was really looking forward to Diablo 3 until they made it online only :(. My gaming rig isn't connected to the Internet and that's not about to change so I won't be playing this game. I only hope Blizzard come to their senses and release some sort of patch that allows offline game play.

"Ready to play by yourself? please sign in"

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to buy a game if it has something stupid like that, I'm sticking with Diablo 2.

Though, I know what you mean, the original X-com has been getting in the way of me doing anything constructive recently. :)

Can't play x-com anymore, tried couple times, just can't .

Played it in 1996 or smth, boy was that an awesome experience... I was so afraid of those damned aliens shooting at me from the dark

btw diablo 3's lag sucks hard, im rubberbanding in a solo private game, the one where game pauses if u go to menu. i keep jumping away from a huge group of mobs and I get teleported back in the middle and dying way too often.

A couple of guys were playing this at a LAN party I "went to" (didn't stay long) last Saturday. Looks pretty neat.
I do think the little "achievement" popups are a bit strange though. :P

Is this a 'Live' enabled game?(I'm not interested in the game, but I'm wondering if that is the achievements you speak of.)

Blizzard is really taking heat for the always-online DRM.

achievments are a carrot dangled in front of people with no skill, when they are done gearing up. since most achievments require X ammount of tries to get it right. there are only a few who are actually hard.

the popups are just typical blizzard mind tricks.

Diablo III isn't even that good tho...I'd much rather play Diablo II.

Diablo III got old very quickly for me. My little brother is still obsessed with it though. He's a minor so he can't open a paypal so he's stuck with around 400 bucks worth of gold haha.
