Parallaxes and layers

Postby MRey » Sun Jul 10, 2016 8:52 am

I want to use 100% of 001 graphics capabilities and use parallax shadows (basically ambient occlusion around walls) in my next project. But here's the problem: occlusion is above ground layer (that's good) AND above all other layers and actors (that's bad). Is it possible to add an option for parallaxes to appear above one of the four main layers and actors and below others?

How it should look:

It'd really make tilesets based games look better. Thanks in advance.

It's really not ideal to use large parallaxes with small details. Best to use actors or overlay tiles.
