Sweet DEALS and Great Deals You've gotten at Stores!

‎6 plastic cups ($6.00 value), straws ($1.00 value), grill tools ($8.00 value), ice cream maker ($10.00 value).

Got it all for about $2.24, and after my 10% off employee discount and 5% off debit card.

On a related note, I used my employee discount and 5% card to get a $230 24'' Vizio LED HDTV for only $180.

One time my dad got us a $200 foosball table for only about 20 bucks, no kidding! It was a display item being thrown away.

Best deal we ever got was when my dad and I went shopping and saved $900 on everything we bought. We used a ton of coupons and 5% discount cards we get in the mail, plus the 10% employee discount and 5% stuff. We also had a 50% off coupon for a Dyson muahahaha.

What kind of deals have you gotten at stores in the past? Please share :p

My dad bought a 60 inch plasma and the stand for $500. The stand itself is normally $300, and the TV is much more than that

He worked at Sears, and bought the display versions at a marked down price

My mom coupons a lot, she usually gets 50-70% off everything.

Sheesh, Canada has restrictions on coupons.

"Use of more than one manufacturer coupon per product purchased is strictly prohibited.
More recently, statements like “Cannot be combined with any other COUPON offer” have been found on various coupons, not all specific to any one Manufacturer, Insert, or web page. It seems to be pretty random."

Hehe ;) , considering you go to the right place that accepts military and senior discounts, you could use combinations of coupons, employee discount of someone you know that works there, and a military discount and senior citizen discount all at once. Muahaha

Plus a lot of places are dumb, I used an ROTC kinda card I had and they gave me a military discount. We were even saluted when we went on base just because we were in camo for an event rofl. Both my parents were army brats and my brother is over in Afgan, so I really didn't feel bad.

My mom likes to coupon but hates the restrictions here. In fact, at our local grocery store, the manager needs to enter a code everytime she wants to add a coupon. I know I saw Fallout 3 for $1.50 at the local drug store but I'm not really allowed to play it so I didn't bother. Has anybody seen that TLC show called Extreme Couponing where people get like $950 worth of groceries for like $11?

Yes that comes to mind whenever America and coupons are in the same sentence.

My town doubles all coupons to $1. So if you get a 25 cent coupon, you get 50 cents off. If you get a 75 cent coupon, you get a dollar off.

Bought Borderlands 2 pre-order for $40 on GMG. Activates through Steam.
