NAZG - Not Another Zombie Game

Story:
You wake up in your bedroom somehow you only feel a hunger. A hunger for brains. Congratulations after hours of playing 001-Zombie Games you finally became also a Zombie. Your objective: As long as you have a bit of a brain left trying to become human again...

Gameplay:
The entire city is full of zombies. As Zombie you can attack your fellow zombies and eat their brains to increase your intelligence. The higher your intelligence the more you can do. For example use guns or push buttons or even use doors.

Character creation:
your character has a history. If he for example was a body builder he has higher attack. Or if you were a intelligent person your intelligence can't never reach less than 5intelligence.

-Be one of the Bad Guys
-Chose a Character Background
-New HUD
-lots of custom Graphics
-Creepy soundeffects

Ha ha. I kind of like this idea. Instead of a cliched 'I IS LEGEND', me slaughter zombie mob game, you're the zombie.
Ever considered having more of a plot (e.g. discoveries of something after reaching a certain point in the game with enough intelligence)?

You constantly lose intelligence. 1 or 2 points every 30 seconds. To compensate this loss you have to eat a lot of brains which again increase the intelligence and HP.

Which means you'll have to kill often.
Do the zombies attack you on sight, when attacked or don't attack you at all?
Maybe you can script their AI for the various kinds of zombies - the smarter ones being more hostile, for example.

The Zombies are no problem. Only if you attack them they defend themselves. If you attack a zombie the other wont come to help the other zombie as you are also a zombie. However it is also not worth it to attack zombies. The brains of zombies wont give you a lot of intelligence but the survivors, humans the have still fully functioning brains and also the animals have better brains than zombies. However there are still other people who hunt zombies down.

Maybe i will be somehow create an abiltiy with which you can signal Zombies to follow you. So they would help you to attack for example a whole squad of the police force (I think the number of Zombies following you will depend on your Intelligence).

Animals
Military
Police
other civilians
if you attack Zombies

So if you get to a high enough inteligence level you turn human? I like the idea a nice little project to work on until you can finish relic :)

Not really, maybe just a smart zombie. One that can use weapons.
And I like the use of AI to command zombies to attack, but it can be a bit tough.

I like zombies for their carnal instinct, and how you try to out wit, cover al the angles, and of course kill rotting corspes, i like games where yo are the human, but this is a nice twist, and by the way, nice customs, I have the shets for tose exact rscourses.

The zombies look too humanly, though.
What happened to those you used in Relic?

Of course I will use the Ressources of Relic for the Zombies but currently I am working on the scripts and building the maps.

However I am considering giving the game a cartoonish style. Maps will be very realistic, but the Zombies and people will maybe look like in a cartoon.

Alright, but remember to add more cartoonish elements.
Add something to the buildings that make them slightly realistic, yet cartoony.

However I still don't really know if I use realistic or cartoonish graphics. My top priority are working scripts and the scripts.

my computer broke down. It will take some time to release the game. However this time there wont be any demo. If I release the game then it will be the full game.

By the way the game wont be as long as other games. But you can choose what to do, how to become a human again. There will be a subway system with sewers, a graveyard, church and you will be able to enter some houses. And other than in Relic there will be also a tutorial.
