Postby Ovoon » Fri Mar 11, 2011 4:28 pm

What electronic music do you listen to? Whatever it is, post it here!

New playlist!

Mord Fustang - SUPER MEAT FREEZE
Mord Fustang - The Electric Dream
Feed Me - Mordez Moi
Memro (this kid was 14 when he made this!) Trick of The Tail
Zedd - Dovregubben
Metropolis - Trafalgar
Madeon - Raise Your Weapon remix (This kid is 16 and only uses FL studio!)
Porter Robinson - The Wildcat

Will add more later.

Squarepusher I say! DnB pioneer and godfather of dubstep.

Omni Trio and Aquasky are amazing too. Some people might recognize this song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv2fRZXv06Y

That's a song they did together. It's only credited as Omni Trio - First Contact but at 1:26 it turns into Aquasky - Spectre. Kinda weird how 1 song is done in 2 different parts with different names by different groups.

This is a good song too. No idea who it is or what it's called but I like it.

I listen to dubstep when I play video games. Really gets you going.

I also like Bootleg music though, where they remix regular songs by other artists into dubstep-esque songs.

I'm not really into this stuff, but Daft Punk did a good job with the Tron soundtrack.

I'm an avid Minecraft player as well. Listen to his unreleased stuff, october for example, or when he was BSOD, if you like that kind of music, I could give you lists and lists of music like that seeing as its all I listen too.

EDIT: You should also look around for indie artists, or the ones that "fly under the mainstream radar" here's an example.

I figured out it's ambient fidget house, like a chill version of Skrillex without the dubstep.

Mmm... I can list off a few Japanese electronic music tracks for you.

One of the best and most original songs I've ever heard. Lame rapper Drake stole it before it was even released. I'm currently making a remix of it and it's already really good.

You posted that Trilucid song already. It's the best trance song ever, and that will ever be. My girlfriend agrees too and she's a huge trance fan.

My bad, haven't been here in forever.

Try this one:

Merc is an indie artist, but hsi stuff is so good, and it's a shame that he's not well known. He'd do good. Another good song by him is Anywhere But here.

I don't know what type of electronic or techno music I like and I don't feel like looking them up, but I would know what's techno or dance music. I'm not very choosy with the whole music category that I would stick to, but I would definately recommend Scooter and Nightcore. Scooter for that awesome beat to get your going. Nightcore for the dazzling sound effects like Dam Dadi Doo, etc.
