Switching to Mac D:

Postby Partysofa » Tue Aug 17, 2010 11:39 am

Sorry people, but I'm gonna have to change to a Mac computer for my school the next few years. I will however do my best to get windows on it, so I can continue working on my game. But unless it doesn't work, I'll keep posting here, but not make games with 001 more

Dude... I'm so sorry. Having a Mac is worse than not having a computer at all.

Yep, that's true. Hmm, I remember there is a version of Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac. If you can use that you can use Windows at least in a virtual machine if you can't install Windows on your machine. Only thing you need beside virtual pc is a Windows disk. Then you should be able to use Windows on Mac.

Theres plenty of great, free music editing software on Windows. Also, the ones you have to pay for on Mac, (Adobe) are also on PC.

Take a look at linux: with LMMS and Audacity you get music editing software as well. And it's for free, just to have that mentioned.

Last time I checked, Intel-Macs can run windows just fine with boot camp. Even so I recall Mike mentioning Linux/Mac support in the not-to-distant future, It was at least an option in the poll a few months back.
