Daveon 20% Done

Welcome to the world of DAVEON. This is a short-term project, what I like to call a 'mini'-game because of its shortness. In DAVEON, you, the adventurer, can choose between three professions, each with a unique storyline, path, and skills. You can choose between three factions: Dasedon, Fedor, and Deko.

Classes:

Guardian- The brave of the land of DAVEON
Shieldman.png

+High health in Final Battles
+Leadership
-Intelligence
+Strategy
-magik

Explorer- The explorer finds caves, possible settlements, and much, much more in the land of DAVEON.

Priest/Darkmage- The spellcasters, scholars, and healers of DAVEON.

With these classes come another choice... faction. Each faction has their own pluses.
Dasedon- The land of exploration and settlement. They destroy everything in their way, forests, caves, mountains, all to improve their technology.

-High technology advancements. (Stronger gear, weapons, brighter torches.)
-Low connection with nature. (Magik is very weak)
-Enhanced soldiers (Cyberwarrior class available)

Fedor- An elf like faction that lives with nature, who some rumor can actually communicate with nature.

-One with nature (high magik skill)
-Low technology (Dimmer torches, weaker gear)
-Elfish eyes (Able to see in darker areas, though some DO require torches.
-Great archers (able to use bows, Archer class available).

Deko- A nation of warriors, they are almost always at war with a major faction or smaller factions.

-Warriors (Warrior class available)
-High dark magik (Only darkmage is available)
-No light magik (healers unavailable)
-Low technology (Small torch radius leaves you vulnerable in caves)

Looks really neat, love those sprites.
And here's an idea, how about making dungeon-modifications?
They are very easy to do, and provide great replay value!
All you have to do is in the "Player enters" trigger in the map properties,
Put a random branch and add events to the end that open and close extra areas of the map by placing and removing walls.
That way each time you play there will be different roads to take and new things to see!
Just make sure that each path you take can complete the area. ;)

Short-term meaning it won't take as long as other projects.

The concept art totally blows away the sprite graphics! Did you make the concept art?
Is there an overarching story or is this free-roam?
