Stat Controls Player Movement Speed

Postby Wonderland » Wed Mar 29, 2017 6:50 am

I tried to do this by placing a timer with a 1 sec interval, and putting a "change player speed" event in "every tick". The "change player speed" speed is set to Actor("main").Stat("Agility"). I thought it would set the speed at the agility stat, but instead every second it flings them around towards the direction they face at an ultra-high speed (the stat should below 4 or below) without the control of the player. What did I do wrong? Thanks.

I don't think velocity and stats use the same proportions when it comes to units. Try dividing the Agility stat by 100 or 1000, see if that's better.

Gamerdude is right. Try setting the player's velocity to Agility / 100
