Good luck dude! I just got a great promotion at work, because I make games and produce music. My boss said that was the deciding factor in him giving me a top office position, because it shows that I have the right kind of brain for the job. Just goes to show that game making and creative arts can pay off much more than just having fun with it. It doesn't even have to be the specific thing that you do for a hobby that you are successful in. Having the ability to do things like game dev is a HUGE bonus when you are looking for employment from people who look outside the box and recognize peoples talents that can translate into other areas of productivity, and those are the kind of people you want to work for, if not for yourself ultimately. I hope you find that success buddy! Don't be afraid to take advantage of your abilities!
