Version 16

Postby Zwitfire » Wed Oct 14, 2015 5:00 pm

I've just downloaded the latest verion (16) and I'm unable to toggle the game to fullscreen. It happens to all projects so it seems easy to reproduce. Allow toggling to fullscreen is enabled.

If you're using Alt+Enter to toggle full screen, I believe this was disabled because it wasn't working properly or something.

It worked fine for me. But if there is any other way to toggle to full-screen; I'm all ears :) as long as I can play on fullscreen

Possibly not while testing. I'm not entirely sure.

The Alt+Enter functionality never worked properly (when returning from full screen to windowed it would shrink the initial window, when this was later resolved it was discovered that the game itself was off-centre, leaving bars along the bottom-right side of the game) so it was decided to disable the functionality. As far as I'm aware, there is no other way to test your game in full screen.

So I'm seriously never able to test my project again in full screen? o.o Can't there be an option to enable the full screen yourself? And ain't it better to enable it and advice those who have bugs to not toggle full-screen? In that case some people cannot use it, now nobody can. Testing my project can take up to 2-3 hours due to its size. And building it first restricts the fast-forward option, which blows ;/.
If nothing can be done, so be it but it sure is a bummer...

I could add it as a testing option, making it even better than before, for you anyway :P.
