World Of The Dead

Gangster, my other game, is not out yet because the computer it's on is getting fixed. This game will be one of the scariest 001 games ever, but you can decide from this later on...

STORY: The world of frivolous necessity has been replaced by a dark new world of survival. The lives of over 2.7 Billion people will be forever changed. An outbreak of massive proportions have caused the dead to rise and feast upon the living. After a few months, the world slowly starts to die, the remaining people of the world have sought refuge, only a small group remains, and they have taken refuge in an abandoned military base. Fortified and locked up, the choices and the lives of you people rest in your hands...

CONVERSATIONS: Conversations each are a combination of random branches, once branches, and switches ensuring open-ended conversations and topics in a logical manner. Therefore, hearing the same thing from a character is rare... each choice affects the plot of the game.

MUSIC/SOUNDS: The soundtrack will send chills down your spine, as tense moments coarse from the soundtrack, tragedy unfolds in a dark and sorrowful music track. Sounds (ranging from the undead, to ambience, gun shots, explosions, etc.) breath life into the game.

CUSTOM RESOURCES: The customs in this game are brilliant, and fit the mood for every place in the game... the zombies even are custom...

OPEN-WORLD: The world is your, drive vehicles, go where you want, it's all up to you... but be careful, random events on the map may help you, or hurt you. You will see farms, stores, and the remnants of cities
once filled with the living, but now cursed with the dead.

This game is best played in the dark... coming next week...

SCREENS: Posted, the outside world will never be posted as a screen, because it would ruin the surprise, so wonder what your in store for...

Another post-apocalyptic game... But this sounds interesting. Screenshots would help. I like the conversation idea though. It'll take a long time working on scripts like that. How long have you been working on this project?

It's been a secret for a bit, about a month, because i want to be ready to re-lease a demo now... instead of you guys waiting... but screens will be delayed a bit, I just got some brand new textures. Who else likes or thinks i should continue working on this game... :)

The screens are up, so take a look, zombies and the outside world screens won't be posted, this would ruin the surprise... but will keep you wondering... what do you think of the screens...

Very good mapping. 8) The story looks like the same of hundreds of 001 projects, but your screenshots are quite unique. The only flaw I see are your weapons: they don't follow the game's custom graphics.

I will ventually redo weapons to make them look and feel apart of the world, but till then, lets all be cool. I just got some new textures for it too. Miroki123, haven't seen you around in a bit...what up...

Here's a suggestion:

You don't have to do this, just a suggestion. I don't know exactly how far you are in your game. But: A lockpicking skill would be nice. Or doorbreaking. Anything that will let the player take "refuge" in areas from zombies that would-without this skill, be inaccessable.

I get the impression you don't respect my decision to make a game... but thanks for changing it to avoid confusion.
And just another suggestion - zombies are a bit overused. Add more elements that make the game unique. You know, what would really happen in an apocalyptic scenario overrun by the undead?

1st, thats a ground texture (works well too), 2nd, there are 3 options for doors, open (door will close behind you), lock, and break...doors will only break if you have enough of a certain stat. 3rd, I plan to have a special mode which gives you a house and a little bit of outside to explore, there will be no point but to survive. Spawntimers will spawn zombies every now and then, you can barricade (box as a charcater, just move it), I think this will be cool.$th, there will be humans and zombies as enemies, there is one little building in the city, its dark, when you go in, there is a deranged man who says, no, get out, you'll lead them right too me, he will try to kill you but will not leave the building, making for an intense situation...

Thanks, but i need some help, I cannot make my zombies and whatnot because of a bug, in the bug and error section i left a post thats says edit error, nobody will help me... :( I cannot continue this game without this resolved, take a look at it please.
