Mental *** Remake whole level ***

Just make some renovation on the game... including the plot

Background Story:
Westhill Asylum was abandoned years ago. Behind the statement, there lies an
underground facility that operates within the asylum complex. The Genesis Facility,
is running an experiment that make the insane as their test subject. Their main
target is to change the insane to a dreadfull biological weapon for the goverment.
Without any thought, something has gone wrong inside the facility. To hide the
incident from the world eyes, the goverment has ordered to shutdown the whole
facility by terminating it's main power. But the test subjects has gone mad and
brutally kills everyone inside the facility.

Plot:
You're Jack Hugsaw, one of the test subject in the facility who had just recover
from mental illness. You just woke in an unknown place. The place was so dark. All
you could see through the flickering is blood and some dead bodies. You began to
wonder that something has gone wrong inside the place and you know that you're not
alone. Without any second to waste, you must get out from the place before it's too
late.

:( I kinda liked it, you just had to make some updates.

So is the game just like Crimson world (run and gun) or is it something like a quest where you have to find clues and stuff?

Seriously, i really want to make something like Desolation!
It's the greatest zombie game ever in 001! (just played it yesterday)
But I kinda bored with stuff like see
Seeing Crimson World as a failure

Well, Mental is a different one from Crimson World
First off all, the game has a storyline, some quest, clues (like got to find keys for some doors)
Next, it's not zombie killing, just some test subject that had got mental override
And, the main character is not a soldier! Meaning no guns at the beginning. Just got a hammer which became the symbol of the game (Half-Life got the Crowbar)
The lightning set-up was so dark. Just like Desolation.
I tried to make-up with the flashlight script
I've watch the tutorials about the flashlight
But kinda need help with scripting

Hm.. Actually sounds more promising then Crimson World.

I see that you really now think before do... well just one question: if you are a scientist or something like that, where the hell you got a frickin sledge hammer :lol: ?

EDIT: Saw the picture and almost siht my pants as I was writing this post before you posted that screen! Man that looks awesome!

Looks nice :) Hope it has a decent length and puzzles. Games like this should have good puzzles :)

UPDATED:
-Story/Plot is told by finding the Journal Card, which can only be read by using the PDA-GF II
-There's some document that you need to look to know the storyline or the information about the characters in the game, or the test subjects.
-Look for any possible archive or stack papers for the documents
-Save ONLY by using the computers that located in the security room.
-Press action on any corpse to pick any possible items

Okay, gave it a try... How do I turn on flash light? The atmopshere was pretty spooky I was like:'' Please dude, I hope you didn't make something scary over here, please, please... OMG!!! oh it's just a zombie''

for some reason the zombie couldn't hit me, nor I could hit him. Then I stopped playing wanted to alt-tab there but the game crashed :( worked perfectly until that place!

Um... you didn't got the flashlight until the next level...

I just tried the game...
I dunno?
but it seems works for me...
Have you picked the hammer in the security room?
It's the only weapon on this test version
ONLY if you could find the secret room

Yes I found the security room, if I wouldn't found it I couldn't get to the room with zombie :P And I didn't find any secret room.

you didn't find the secret room until you pass through the red doors.

btw, have you manage to fight with the test subject ( I didn't call it a zombie) ;)

As I said, the Test subject (happy now? joke lol) doesn't do any damage to me, he just swings around hes basebal bat... somehow I can't do any damage to him, doing the same just with a hammer. Anyway, don't you mind replacing the hammer with a fireaxe? It's kinda weird that you find a hammer in a security room.

I think you're right... lol the guards are using hammers...
but the hammer is the trademark of the game..
I can't do anything about it..

I just played the game, quite good I have to say, other than spelling mistakes and grammar errors the atmosphere was pretty good. I had a white pass card at one point but lost it somehow, I might have "used it" when I tried to use my med kit.

Otherwise pretty good game, I would like to see more.

my grammar was really bad and sorry for that ;)

btw, the white pass card can't be use in the inventory... it will automatically be removed once you open a white... to open another.. you have to find another white pass card... btw... do you manage to fight with the first test subject(just wanted a feedback for fixing the game)

I got as far as the room with the Elevator and could not get another white pass card.

You have to go to the red door..
the red pass card it at the east room where the same room as the red door.
the card on the scientist corpse

The white door:
the key is on the guard's corpse at the western room where there's dim blue light and elevator of course
You need a CODE to access the white door
The code in the western room after in the red door section
on the table...

I notice that my English was suck... sorry :oops:

The test version contain only a chapter
Rite now I'm working with da demo version
which supposed to have 3 chapter and of course a big boss

I dunno about the full version...

Well... I think it's my computer problem... I tried it about 10 times, restarted and restarted and restarted and bla bla bla... and it didn't work, I still couldn't hit the test subject, nor he could hit me.

The game is very good :)
the little lighting, death people without any parts of body... frightening :shock:
But the HUD is basic.
