Team Recruiting Closed (for now)

Postby metomunc » Fri May 14, 2010 1:10 am

This project has been put on hold for awhile as we are rethinking several things from the ground up. Thank you all for your interest in joining up with us, but the project is no longer active and won't be for quite some time.

Here's my difficulty. I need to recruit people for a game that I cannot tell anyone about openly. I'll say the setting is in a fictional world with technology that is just past the dark ages. You may be skeptical to apply, but be assured this project is well on it's way already and requires very little input as far as the story/character developement/ect. This started as a solo deal, but it's going "team" now.

Project Features:
- Full custom soundtrack (over 25 origional songs)
- Origional sound fx
- Over 20 characters in the cast
- Varying gameplay
- Adventurous storyline
- Over 16 unique areas
- Relatively small, but detailed maps (20x20 to 60x60)
- Unique action RPG gameplay

What I'm really looking for is help with character and monster spriting. This does not mean you necessarily have to be able to animate, but it would help alot. To join the team you don't need to procure a lot of resources. Really if I get help with one or two things that's better than nothing. I'm open to other help as well (I'll probably use whatever you make if it's good), but characters are the big cheese in my curd at the moment. As a team member you will have:
- access to the story
- ability to give input about changes or adjustments on anything
- Your name (real or forum) in the credits

Things that will help you:
- Knowing the basics of color choice and shading.
- Use of Paint/Photoshop or other image editors
- Utilizing each pixel to the max
- Ability to work well with other team members

Copy and paste the form below and post er here if your interested:

Great that makes two. :D I'm still in need of at least 1 pixel artist though. Headway in that area is slowest right now.

I may just start the team project now and leave this open for anyone else who wants to join. If all else fails I can do all the art myself it will just take alot longer.

The job is yours. :D I could always use more opinions on the plot/plot developers. Although spriters are still what I'm lacking most. I'll put you down for plot developement and auxillary.

If you think you've got the time. I could use help with just about everything to make things go faster. If you're busy with your own team project I'd also understand if you didn't want to join. It's up to you. ;)
